Editorial Process 
 

The Journal of Scientific Advances in Forensics adopts a rigorous editorial process to ensure the quality and originality of its publications. The editorial flow is structured to provide a critical and transparent analysis of submissions, with the aim of maintaining the highest scientific standards. 

  1. Manuscript Submission 
    Authors must submit their manuscripts through the journal's electronic system, including all required documents, such as the full article and statements of originality.
  2. Initial Screening
    After submission, the editorial team performs a screening to verify whether the manuscript complies with the journal's objectives and formatting standards. Plagiarism checks are also performed at this stage.
  3. Peer Review
    Manuscripts approved in the initial screening undergo peer review, where experts in the field assess the quality, methodology and scientific contribution of the article.
  4. Editorial Decision
    Based on the reviewers' opinions, the editorial decision will be made: accessible, excluded or request for adjustments. Communication with the authors is made, offering feedback for possible revisions.
  5. Revisions and Adjustments
    The authors revise their manuscripts according to the reviewers' comments. The revised article is re-evaluated to ensure that it meets the journal's requirements.
  6. Editing and Preparation for Publication
    The final manuscript is revised, formatted and prepared for publication. The authors confirm the final version before its online publication.
  7. Publication and Dissemination
    Accepted articles are published on the journal's platform and made available for public access, promoting the dissemination of knowledge in the areas of digital forensics and cybersecurity.

The Journal of Scientific Advances in Forensics adopts an open access policy, allowing anyone to have free access to the journal's publications, ensuring a wide dissemination of research and innovations in the area of ​​digital forensics.
