Authors are invited to submit to this journal. All submissions will be assessed by an editor to determine whether they meet the aims and scope of this journal. Those deemed suitable will be sent for peer review before determining whether they will be accepted or rejected. 
 
Before submitting, authors are responsible for obtaining permission to publish any material included in the submission, such as photos, documents and datasets. All authors identified in the submission must consent to being identified as authors. Where appropriate, the research must be approved by an appropriate ethics committee in accordance with the legal requirements of the country of study. 
 
An editor may reject a submission if it does not meet minimum quality standards. Before submitting, ensure that the study design and research argument are structured and articulated appropriately. The title should be concise and the abstract should be self-contained. This will increase the likelihood that reviewers will agree to evaluate the paper. Once you are satisfied that your submission meets this standard, follow the checklist below to prepare your submission: 
 
Registration in the System 
 
Registration in the system and subsequent access, using a login and password, are mandatory for submitting papers, as well as for monitoring the ongoing editorial process. Log in to an existing account or register a new account. 
 
Accepted Languages 
 
The Brazilian Journal of Digital Signature and Cryptography accepts submissions of articles in Portuguese, English and Spanish. This multilingual policy aims to broaden the reach of the journal, allowing researchers from different regions to share their discoveries and innovations in the field of digital security and cryptography. By accepting articles in these languages, the journal makes the global scientific dialogue easier, promoting the exchange of knowledge between authors and readers of different nationalities and cultural backgrounds. 

Article Submission Guidelines  

The Brazilian Journal of Digital Signature and Cryptography (RBADC) aims to publish scientific articles that contribute to the advancement of knowledge in the areas of digital security, cryptography and related technologies. To ensure the quality and standardization of publications, we have established a set of standards that guide the formatting and submission of articles. These guidelines are essential for submitted texts to meet the journal's editorial requirements and facilitate the evaluation process. By following the rules described below, authors ensure compliance with publication standards and fluidity in the analysis of their work, from submission to publication. 

General Format 

  • Language: Articles must be submitted in Portuguese, with mandatory translation into English (abstract).
  • Article Length: The article must be between 8 and 12 pages long, including the title page, authors, abstract and references.
  • File: The article must be submitted in Microsoft Word format (.doc or .docx).
  • Font: The font used must be Times New Roman, size 12 for the body of the text, 14 for titles and subtitles, and size 10 for the abstract, short and direct abstract with more than three lines.
  • Spacing: The text should be spaced 1.5, except for the abstract, which must be presented in single spacing.
  • Margins: Margins should be 2.5 cm on all sides.

Identification of Authors and Advisors 

  • Authors: They must be identified with their full name, followed by the educational institution, and institutional email of each author.
  • Advisor: Must be identified in the same way as the authors, with full name, educational institution and institutional email. 

Article Structure 

Title: The title must be clear and objective. If there is a subtitle, it must be separated by a colon.

Abstract: The abstract must be presented in a single paragraph and have a maximum of 250 words. It must contain: 

  • Theme and problem of the study;
  • General objective of the study;
  • Employed methodology;
  • Results obtained;
  • Conclusions.  

Keywords: The article must contain 3 to 5 keywords, separated by semicolons. 
 
Abstract: The abstract must follow the same structure as the summary, with a maximum of 250 words, and must be presented in English. 

Introduction: 

  • Presentation of the context and justification of the research;
  • Objectives of the study;
  • Description of the methodology and structure of the article.

Theoretical Basis: 

  • Review of the literature and main theories that support the study. 
     
    Important information: 
     
  • Citations must follow ABNT NBR 10520.
  • References to tables and illustrations must be included in the general references. 
     
    Examples of Citations: 
     
  • Indirect Citation: (SANTOS, 2021).
  • Direct Citation: "Text cited" (SANTOS, 2021, p. 23).
  • Citation with 4 or more authors: (MIGUEL et al., 2022).
  • Citation of Citation: (PIRES, 2015 apud SANTOS, 2022).
  • Long Direct Quote: Special formatting for constraints longer than 3 lines.

    Tables and Illustrations:
  • Tables and graphs should be numbered and titled in bold, followed by the source consulted.
  • If necessary, the title of tables and illustrations should be repeated on each page they appear.

    Theme Development:
  • Detailed presentation of the methodology applied and the study performed.

    Results and Discussion:

  • Exhibition of the results obtained and their analyses, with subtitles being possible for greater clarity.

    Final Considerations:

  • Summary of the main conclusions of the study and suggestions for future research.

    References:
  • References should be presented in alphabetical order, in accordance with ABNT NBR 6023.

    Submission Procedures

  • Submission: The article must be submitted through the online submission system.
  • Review: After submission, the article will undergo a peer review process. The author will be notified of any improvements or necessary adjustments.
  • Copyright: The authors must ensure that the work has not been previously published and that they respect the copyright of the sources used. 

 These rules must be strictly followed to ensure that the article is correctly formatted and complies with the required standards. 

All submissions must meet the following requirements.

  • This submission meets the requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines.
  • This submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration.
  • All references have been checked for accuracy and completeness.
  • All tables and figures have been numbered and labeled.
  • Permission has been obtained to publish all photos, datasets and other material provided with this submission.
